NurseNed Trial Summary
This trial is looking at whether a virtual nurse-led clinic for prostate cancer survivors is more effective than a traditional specialist-led clinic. 600 men will be followed for 12 months.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for men over 18 who've finished treatment for prostate cancer and are at low risk of recurrence. They must be getting care at certain Canadian hospitals, speak English (or have a translator), and have an email address.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study compares traditional specialist-led virtual care with a new nurse-led virtual clinic for prostate cancer survivors. It's not random; patients choose their group, aiming to enroll 600 men across five sites in Canada.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves comparing different types of survivorship care rather than medication, there aren't typical drug side effects. However, participants may experience differences in satisfaction or quality of life.
