Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- You are willing to attend classes with other people.You have a very serious illness with a short life expectancy.You have lost more than 5% of your body weight in the last 6 months, excluding weight loss after giving birth.
Research Study Groups:
This trial has the following groups:- Group 1: Receive lifestyle modification alone (DPP)
- Group 2: Receive lifestyle modification with metformin therapy

This trial has 1 awards, including:- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
