Study Summary
This trial will study how the prefrontal cortex affects social cognition in humans.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 who can consent to participate. It's not suitable for those under 18, pregnant individuals, people with significant other illnesses, or those on medications that affect the brain like stimulants and antipsychotics. Also excluded are those with claustrophobia or anxiety that could interfere with testing.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study focuses on how a part of the brain called the dorsal prefrontal cortex is involved in social thinking and behavior. Participants will undergo behavioral tests while their brain activity is recorded.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this study involves behavioral testing rather than medication, traditional side effects are not expected. However, participants may experience discomfort or anxiety during neuronal recordings.

This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- I need to take medication that may affect diagnostic tests.I am under 18 years old.I am 18 years old or older.I am not taking any medications that affect my brain function.My surgery needs to be fast-tracked due to certain conditions.
