- I have used virtual reality for treatment in the last 3 months.You have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or you cannot understand or communicate in English.I have experienced seizures or loss of awareness due to epilepsy.I have difficulty understanding or answering questions.You cannot use the controls for the IVR (interactive voice response) system due to lack of coordination in your arms.You have trouble hearing or seeing clearly, as confirmed by the study doctor.I am 18 years old or older.I am referred for chronic pain therapy at UPMC Centre Commons.
